Daily Examen
Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1150 Founder of the Society of Jesus), developed this method of praying daily. He taught that the essences of a healthy spiritual life rest in the believer seeing God in all things and working on a daily basis to cooperate with God. This may be 15 minutes and can be done twice daily at your leisure.
MAKE TIME FOR PRAYER
Find a place that you can be in without disturbance. Begin to look at your day. You may be by a worship space, a chair. Set up the ambience of the space light a candle or hit a sounding bowl. Sit in a straight back chair or in a comfortable position. Begin to enter into the presence of God and begin to pray. Recall yourself in the Presence of the Lord.
RECALL YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD
Look at your day with gratitude begin to thank God for all the events of the day. Begin to thank him for all the gifts of the day in your life.
ASK FOR HELP FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT

RECONCILE AND RESOLVE ISSUES
Ask for forgiveness from God for all the things you are not proud of. Be honest talk about what you did and what you needed to do. Talk to Jesus about your shortcomings.
